Recommend me some russian writers, please...

When possible, from the 19th century. But also younger writers will have a chance. IF they are russians.

I love russian literature soooo much!, and have read nearly all of Dostojewskij's key works (and not only key works... "The crocodile", a piece of short prose, is just plain fantastic!), I have read Gogol (love him, too), I read Gontscharow's Oblomov, Turgenjew...

Tolstoj I have to get into still;

some weeks ago I ordered some novels of Puschkin, not read yet.

But I need more, more, and more. That's for sure. Can u recommend me some more of that period?

you simply HAVE TO HAVE TO HAAAAAVE TO check out Mikail Bulgakov
more specifically, you should start with "The Master and Margarite"!!
it is the single most greatest book in the universe.

well, that and Emily Brontë's Wurthering Heights.

The Master and Margarite has biting wit, social commentary, and it's
sort of magic realism yet very very easy to read altho it's one of a
select group of literary masterpieces that tower above the majority
of all the other so called "essential classics".

It's in a league of it's own. Plus it's just a great story with the
most insane, amusing and unforgettable cast of characters you will
ever have the privilage to meat!

seriously, check this out.

if you don't believe me, do some research on the web about this book
or just check out the customer reviews, which are for 90% 5 stars.

besides this, his crowning achievement, all other works by him are
recommended. but start here and you will no doubt want to read them
all anyway.
