I have a dumb question. Everytime I try to burn an mp3 or data disk to DVD it does NOT work. I use Nero 6.0 and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I can burn DVD movies but not data. Any idea why? Do I need to convert the files or use any program?

If You are using WindowsXP, there is no need to use another program.

WindowsXP suports DVD data disk burning.

It's as simple as putting the blank data disk into the drive.
Dragging the files you want onto the drive.
Right clicking on the drive to write the disk.

It is byond me why anyone would use another program for this while using windowsXP

The only bit of software you need with most pieces of hardware are the "driver"s

Unfortunately, not everyone is "Computer Saavy" like me, but it is only because they choose not to be. To use something well, one must understand what the object is, and what it is used for.

I'm about ready to pull out my hair. I tried both methods described in this topic and neither of them worked. Is there somewhere I can READ the exact directions on how to do this?
