I finally gave in and got a MySpace account... so now what? I feel exactly the same as I did before not too sure what the fuss is about really.

In all seriousness.....I have found alot of new music on there. That's how it started for me. Then the funny stuff. And trading comments with everyone is funny. It's an easy way to stay in contact with people that I don't exactly talk on the phone with everyday. And the ones that I do have alot of contact with, well, it's an easy way for us to act like idiots with each other. I have actually made a handful of really good friends also, again, that I would never have met if not for the stupid website.

Man, I accidentally deleted a beautiful dissection of Myspace. Anyways...I used to be into it, but that was just a phase. I had a close friend who got me on it. I even briefly dated her best friend and we used to hang out sometimes. Eventually I only heard from her when she was promoting her boyfriend's djing. She never returned my Myspace messages(a nice feature is that you can tell if someone has read your message, so you know if they're blowing you off. So, I deleted her and never heard back from her except on my e-mail address, which she still uses to promote DJ Image. That is his name! Can you be any more lame? It's all about self-promotion and half-assed communication. You can check out my page if you dare, though.

Myspace is for:

bands/comedians
hot girls who like to flirt and/or pretend to be poetesses(they love The Notebook, btw)
peopple under 25(but mostly teenagers)
weird people--these are the only people on myspace I feel a kinship with
liars--may be any combination of the above
