Maybe I say "thanks" to the girl at the cash register or something, send a text message to my mother. But for the most part it could be just me locked inside my apartment fiddling with my musical gear. I don't even watch TV a lot, seldom read for fun. Well, I would say I usually spend 1-4 days each week like that, without speaking to anyone. So I'm completely used to it
I wish my mom could comprehend a text message, she'd call me on the phone & ask what that envelope is on her cell phone

I love to take a drive in the mountains. Walk the around the lake, just anything to do with nature.
Soothing, and relaxing. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

My new thing is to go to the cinema. Going on your own means you don't have to compromise with someone else about what you see.

I usually sleep really late and then clean my apartment, do laundry, smoke some cheebah. If I've already done all that then I try to go to friend's houses to hang out and watch a movie or something. I hate being alone for a long time!

I often spend days on my own doing very little.
Yesterday I had a wonderful one though. I spent the day at a health farm generally relaxing and winding down after the traumas of the past few months. It's only down the road from me so I'm going to make the most of it over the next month. I'm going back this evening for a swim. Really, I need it right now.

Exactly. And if you're the popcorn-eating sort, you can decide how much you want without having to guesstimate the consumption of the person you're sharing with. It's not the sharing I mind. It's the guesstimating. Seattle Org Invasion July 28th-30th http://www.prince.org/msg/2/177514

It's the guesstimating. There's always that conversation. 'How hungry are you?' 'Can we put butter on?' 'That's too salty!' Of course, these days I never get popcorn. I'm lucky if I get a cherry icee for a treat. |

I've never understood the concept of going to the cinema together with someone. Yeah, sure you can do that too. But you're there supposedly to sit on your ass and to watch a movie, it's hardly a very lively social situation anyway.
Some people are just so ridiculously scared to be seen alone.
