.. be it weekend or just a day at home alone, what do you get up to?

I used to do what I called my 'favorite day'. And I don't do it anymore. In the summer when I lived downtown and found myself with a weekday off I'd wander around downtown, stop for a nice lunch for myself, head to the bookstore, spend an hour or so picking things out, buy a book or 4, head to the coffee shop, sit outside sippin' a latte and reading or writing, wander back to Loring Park, read or write more in the park and wander on back home again. I miss those days.

These days I usually watch some tv/movies, listen to music, read and play with my kitty.
Or maybe go out and shop a bit.

The beach.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to the beach alone.
There is one on the Bradenton Beach shore that is awesome becuase it is a small beach, less travelled than most and quiet.

I love bringing my iPod, a book, some sun tan lotion, an umbrella (for when it gets too hot) and a small cooler.

Seriously, the beach is the best place to chill by yourself.

Sleep and watch the episodes of Tyra that I missed...

I rarely have any days to myself, though. A few hors here and there, but not like my first year of college. My roommate moved out of our dorm room with about 2 or 3 months left in the school year, so I had the place to myself. Not only that, but I'd take walks across the Mississippi River over to Wisconsin where I'd shoot nature photography. That was a very relaxing period in my life compared to what I was going through only a year before.

The beauty part about chilling at the beach is the female watching. A girl would blush like hell if you saw her in her bra and underwear but at a beach they will just walk around in even less

In the days before Amy I used to drive my Uncles boat to the public beach (where typically people don't live on the water or else they wouldn't be at the public beach) and then swim into shore and chill on the beach for a while and then after you meet some ladies you let them know you have a boat and you can go waterskiing or what not and most of themselves trip over themselves to go along with you.

My favorite activity to do by myself is to listen to baseball on the radio and hurray for me opening day is tomorrow!

damn near everyday i spend alone...on weekends, if i have enough money i'll ride around on the buses all day while listening to my ipod.

It's been so long since I've had a day to myself that I wouldn't know what to do.

I've been sick for the past few days, therefore I've been bed ridden, aching, sneezing and vegging out watching TV, cartoons are cool. Thankfully I am better today, I can actually get up and move around.

But i like to go to the park & feed squirells , LOVE sitting on a warm beach listening to the waves. or just in my backyard on my swing,,i do ALOT of gardening too. I like to walk, I dont have a drivers licence so dont really have a choice.& its good for me~

I'm so grateful when I have days by myself. Though, they're rarely REALLY by myself, as I have a dog. But he's different. So yeah, I'd generally wake up late, read for a bit, check my email, get breakfast, and take a loooong walk with the dog. Then I'll often go for a wander. . . bookstore, or drive/bus over/around Lake Washington, or walk around whichever neighborhood is striking my fancy that day. Afternoon nap, then maybe catch a movie. . . I love going to movie theaters by myself. . . then prolly go home and get online, walk the dog again, read for a while, and go to bed.

too much tv, too much sleep, too much internet... walk around the lake, catch a matinee, listen to music... procrastinate on some shit that needs to get done, bitch & moan...

Clean, watch a movie, dance around the apartment, or read.

I can easily go for several weeks without speaking a word with anyone during the summer breaks at the university. Maybe I say "thanks" to the girl at the cash register or something, send a text message to my mother. But for the most part it could be just me locked inside my apartment fiddling with my musical gear. I don't even watch TV a lot, seldom read for fun. Well, I would say I usually spend 1-4 days each week like that, without speaking to anyone. So I'm completely used to it
