PrintableI'm a homebody, so I'm always quite content with just sitting around and playing Metal Gear or some such if I can't find anything to do on a given night.
Clubs and whatnot make me uncomfortable when I'm with friends, anyway, so I can't imagine how akward I'd be hanging around one alone. ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~

It's funny. . .clubs and whatnot generally make me uncomfortable too. My friends generally have to drag me out to them; I'd much rather hang out with people at home with a pot of tea, or go out for coffee. However, I've recently found I'm MORE comfortable going to clubs by myself. Trying to have conversations with people in those sorts of places is impossible, so I have no interest in going with my friends. But if I've got an evening to myself and am in the mood for music/dancing, I'll totally go out, and I always have more fun alone. I did alot at uni, cos I worked late, so went out on my own after work, knowing all my friends would be out anyway, but didnt phase me going to a club on my own and stuff also with me travelling so much, I ended up going out on my own (met loads of ppl in the process and had some amazing (and sometimes wild nights)) rarther than spend the evening in my hotel room, clicking the remote control... So what do you/ would you do?  I'm independent...if I want to go somewhere and have no one else to go with me, I go anyway - but I'm 'safe' about it. I even took a vacation to Paris last year by myself...go for it! You only have one life to live....  "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

I will go out alone sometimes. However, if I'm at a bar or a social place, I'm usually not alone for long. Just last Friday, I went to a restaurant to meet a friend and waited for her at the bar. In less than 45 seconds, this guy was asking to buy me a drink. Down boy, down! I wanted to say. | |
