I just started reading Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel. So far, it's very good. I have always wanted to read this series, so I bought the first book last week. I'm only 120 pages into it, but I can't wait to read the others in the series.

Cborgmans boring sex stories on here except the one where he was screaming Jesus name.That one was funny!!

i just finished "george and martha" by karen finley. i dunno what i'm gonna read next, though i've been eyeballing the novel "it's superman!".

I recently finished Death on the Installment Plan by Louis-Ferdinand Celine.

I'm now reading Beloved by Toni Morrison.

I've set aside the books I was getting started on (The Selfish Gene, I Am Charlotte Simmons, Catcher in the Rye) to get through my growing stack of magazines (Dwell, Time, National Geographic, etc). I did pick up a little book of stories from Peace Corps volunteers, though, and am quite enjoying it.

and i've had to double back reading her stuff too i think she's a hard read but its worth it. i really like the way she uses words to describe something, a situation or how her charactor is feeling or thinking in a way that i can easily imagine but cannot explain in words myself.
