RE: Do avatars shape the way we view a person? Yes. sometimes it's the avatar that makes a comment funny. Especially if the comment is serious and the avatar isn't or vice versa.

I got tons of hate for my mc hammer "binbag" av. People thought i was hammer.

I love my kitten avatar. Any other just doesn't seem right. It wasn't my intention to have such a sappy avatar though, but I'm used to it now.

I think it probably says all kinds of things about me, but I can't be bothered to speculate as to what exactly.

i was afraid to change my avatar for over a year. in my mind it became the org me. i changed it to mock 9s, and i've changed it twice since then!!
