The last four days have been hell.

I've been having a tooth ache since The NYC invasion. I keep going back to the dentist and what not and he kept giving me pills. So finally Thursday he does a root cannal. Friday I was in more pain than ever with that tooth and I kept getting sick but my mom and Rich kept telling me I was just sore and I was being a baby so I just let it go. Around 6 I couldn't take it anymore so I called the dentist but they were closed.

Friday night Rich and I went to Irving Plaza to see Jack White's band. It was a really small place and it was a great show, but I took 3 vicodens and I was still in a shit load of pain. I just kind of waited for the show to be over and came home around 11 and watched tv all night.

Saturday I woke up and I was swollen up like a monster. I called my dentist and left a message but the owner of the place called me back and gave me a number of an oral surgeon. I called him and he told me to take antibiotics and I'd be fine. I said bullshit and called another surgeon the owner gave me the number of.

So I go to this dude and he's all hardcore, he's not a dentist he's like way more serious than that. He only does surgerys and he's got and operating room not a dentist chair and he hooks me up to these heart monitors and gives me lots of drugs and he tells me that he can either pull the tooth or saw through my jawbone to relive the pressure because my idiot dentist fucked me up good.

I say pull the damn thing! so he does but for some reason he cuts me open too and I have a bunch of stitches in my mouth. I can't talk or eat or drink that much. I'm on a vicoden and percocet cocktail that has me talking to people who aren't here and I don't know how I'm gonna drag my ass into work tomorrow.

The worst part is this is the SECOND time that dentist has done this to me! The first time I figured it was a fluke but if the motherfucker did it twice I think I need a new dentist.

Take the drugs!

Go get a new dentist. And think about reporting him to the BBB / Better Business Beauru. I've had my share of dental problems, and on dentist is now out of business because of installing faulty "caps" that fell out after 3 weeks so u would have to keep going back to him. That was a $2,000 mistake on my part. He kept telling me my teeth were too pourus. Turns out he had done the same thing to about 20 other patients. We all filed suit and he shut his doors & ran. Dentists can b scurry. Thankfully i have a great one now.

I used to love that dentist because he'd give you vicoden if you went in for a cleaning... seriously he loves giving out perscriptions....but damn twice he fucked me up now in 3 years. It can'y just be me... I wonder how he still has a license.

I didn't really pay that much, I'm a teacher and my insurance takes care of most of it so I think it would be a waste of time to try to sue...but maybe reporting them to the Better Business Beauru isn't a bad idea.

I totally know how you feel I've had problems with my teeth all my life, and a lot of it was aggravated by bad dentists!! It sucks, they dont seem to get the same treatment as doctors who mess up, and they really should! Hope you feel better soon Sweeny, just keep taking as many pills as they give you!

I had a root canal a few years ago on a tooth but it wasnt done properly so a few years down the line, in summer, I had to get it done again! Then the front part of it broke away, because it was barely held together by fillings anyway And now I have to go tomorrow to get it taken out! I had one taken out years ago and this one should be easier, but Im still pretty worried! Plus I cant afford to pay for it at all, I have hardly any cash and no credit cards or anything...

PS Get a new dentist!!

It would cost more in time and money to sue him then it did to have him fuck me up.
