To clarify my post above, my music teacher was telling us a story one day about his travels as a young, teenage musician in the 40's and 50's. He traveled "somewhere" and another musician could identify him as a Nashvillian simply because my teacher had gold in his mouth. That was looong before Flava Flav or hip-hop in general was even thought about. I've seen people rocking multiple gold teeth as long as I've been in the world.
