What are you reading?

I just started reading Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel. So far, it's very good. I have always wanted to read this series, so I bought the first book last week. I'm only 120 pages into it, but I can't wait to read the others in the series.

It seems as though I'm the only person who has never read this series. Not sure why I never picked it up before. So far, I'm really enjoying it.

I've set aside the books I was getting started on (The Selfish Gene, I Am Charlotte Simmons, Catcher in the Rye) to get through my growing stack of magazines (Dwell, Time, National Geographic, etc). I did pick up a little book of stories from Peace Corps volunteers, though, and am quite enjoying it.

and i've had to double back reading her stuff too lol i think she's a hard read but its worth it. i really like the way she uses words to describe something, a situation or how her charactor is feeling or thinking in a way that i can easily imagine but cannot explain in words myself.
