People who have known me for a long time know that I have an ability to spot trends waaaaay in advance. It's almost creepy. I decide something is cool, and a few months later, it's in the stores. My friends joke about my influential stalker.

If I'm not over it by the time it hits, it works out well for me. Means I can find stuff I like at Target, instead of having to hunt for it.

So, this black-and-white bit that is so big right now is my FAV. A while back I threw out most of my clothes that weren't black/white, and did my bedroom in black/white. . . I'm kind of thinking of doing my whole apartment in a black-and-white with splashes of color sorta thing. I have old wood mouldings around my doors and whatnot. . . might paint them black, and brighten up the shade of white on the walls. I think it's sophisticated, graphic, and way cool looking.

So, I'm trying to find recent pictures online of this phenomenon, but I'm having trouble finding much. I've been seeing in magazines, but I didn't save any of them.

So, if you see any neat pics of black/white clothes, rooms, or just objects, be a dear and post 'em for me.

Nah, it's true. I've always been considered one step ahead, but that's mainly cause I pay attention to what's going on elsewhere and pick up on it before it hits Mpls hard. That and I've kinda got my own thing goin on all the time.
