my neighborhood is in the shadow of manhattan, so it's pretty much this.

plus, our building, like most, has no backyard.

well,we're not right on the water, nor is it the exact angle, but that's the gist of it. from our roof there is a spefctacular view of the lower east side of manhattan.

when 9/11 happened, ryan and chris, my next-door-neighbors-slash-best-friends watched it from the roof

yellow and purple looks GREAT! we go married in this very backyard, and we planted all flowers yellow and purple to match the ones in my hair biggrin

I would still be interested to see people's during/after snow photos, since we don't get to experience that here in my town
