I use Amazon every now and then.. and someone was able to steal my information and place a $600 order on my credit card.. without amazon nor I knowing about it.. I see it on my transaction sheet..

Luckily the bank took care of it for me.. but its scary when it happens...

YOU should NEVER respond by putting your passwords in through an email sent to your email account. If you fear that there is some reality to an email you got at your email account, for example a Paypal type email, you should open a new window and log onto paypal directly. If there was any reality to an email sent to you, there you would be able to see the info.
