Isn't work better with a hangover???!
It doesn't happen so often these days but I always have a far more interesting day as a result. The new staff actually think I'm chirpy. I don't think they've seen me smile before.

I think you have drunk too much... work is worse with a hangover [Edited 3/29/06 4:43am]

No! Honestly, I'm not still drunk. Honest! Just sleep deprived, probably. It's like I have interesting colleagues all of a sudden.

That was my thought as well! No! Bad thread idea... My bosses wouldn't take too kindly, believe me. But that has happened before - a long, long time ago (when I was much younger). I had to sit under my desk because the strip lighting was too harsh. Good job my boss liked me.

I remember I went to see NIN last year in Brixton. Best gig ever. Afterwards I got totally hammered on Whisky and went to bed at 4am.
I had to get up at 6 in the morning to go to work at Merrill Lynch, and looking back on it, it was hilarious - I was like a corpse. Saying as little as possible and sipping triple espressos all day to keep me awake, since I was falling asleep as people were talking to me! I took my lunch break as an opportunity to kip and fell asleep at my desk. Awesome

Tomorrow, this thread will become 'Isn't work WORSE when you've overslept the night before?'. I think it'll be a looooong one tonight.
And back to scaring the newbies at work tomorrow.

It's a horrible, horrible place to work imho. All grey, no windows, restricted internet, phonecalls recorded. Ugh.
