Things are tough here in Detroit because of the auto layoffs...and that affects our whole economy.

I was laid off in 2004 and then, as you know, in 2005 the house I was living in burned down (didn't have insurance because of the layoff in 2004)

So, I'm pretty scared.

A couple of people have already lost their jobs in the past week.

Yeah, we were, weren't we? I was off for 9 months, not sure how long you were off. Any time off work is too long.
