he'd feed it potatobugs what do you feed them really? some people buy crickets from pet stores to feed it.....or just ants or dead flies. If they're grown outdoors they usually eat 2-3 flies a month. I'm keeping it on the inside though. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Temperatures have to be pretty humid.... and lots of indirect sunlight. Location has a lot to do with the level of care needed too. Because the plants grow in my state, I don't have to do as much, like building a terrarium with a lid to create humidity. As far as feeding them bugs.....you don't have to feed them as often as you'd think. Some can go months without eating bugs, they just grow a little bit slower. Here's a site with a bunch of FAQ's, because I'm still learning about the care for them myself. http://www.sarracenia.com...q2000.html I read the one about how often to feed them, and it's possible for them to go over a year without eating bugs. *Sigh of relief* , you know because even though I'm fascinated with them, I didn't wanna have to feed bugs to it on a regular basis. I guess like any plant, as long as their watered they'll be ok. *i* [Edited 3/24/06 21:35pm] looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Since they're fairly small, I wanna get another one or two and make a big terrarium full of flytraps. Maybe I shouldn't have caught the bugs by hitting them with bug spray. That last line is a joke News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

That last line is a joke they need a LOT of humidity...they need to be in a teranium in order to survive, not just in a flower pot and their soil is to be moist, not totally wet all the time... not direct sunlight, but lots of light nonetheless all this from FAQ i can't wait 2 get one!

I used to have cacti and I thought it'd be cool to get a venus fly trap. They're not the easiest of plants to not kill.

My mom used to have an aloe plant and it's similar to cacti. it lived for a long time. I used to like that plant.....it was beneficial having it too. Whenever I'd get a burn, I'd just break off a piece of aloe and use it. They're lovely plants. I'm thinking about getting one sometime soon. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I heard too many bugs isn't a good thing either, since they normally eat 2-3 each month. They really don't need the bugs to survive, they just act as nutrients. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
