So last night I went to my niece's choir concert. She's a freshman in high school. When I arrived she introduced me to her friend as her Aunt Carrie. Her friend quickly proclaimed 'You look too young to be an aunt'. Isn't that sweet?
Then, as I was filing into the auditorium with my niece's mother, they were charging for admission and I realized I didn't have any cash on me. Lovely woman that she is, she offered to buy my ticket. When we got to the ticket table, she said, 2 please. The woman behind the counter looked up at us and said, "One adult and one student?"

lol

I don't think I look THAT young. I've always felt I looked my age. But maybe not. giggle

How bout you?

People always guess I am about 10 years younger than I am....I think it is all about attitude and style, eating right, exercising, and nothing in excess that will damage you physically or emotionally....and keeping a smile on your face and positive outlook. Corny, but true. nod

Ooh, PS;

I change too often. When very young, I was a slight thing with too long hair, so they thought I was a girl.

Then I became 12 and shaved my hair off and was mighty proud of the soft hair on my upper lip.

From that moment people always thought I was older than I was. I never got asked for ID ever. But then again, first time I actually hit town I was 16 and the town was Amsterdam, so...

Then, around my 28th, people started getting my age RIGHT. Now that was GOOD. I liked that.

And now people ask me what I study. hmm So now people think I am younger than my actual age... my friend Luke told me I am "George Clooney-ing", which in his explanation meant that I am getting better looking with age... hmm

We'll see.

I look younger than my age. I'm in my early twenties, yet people think I'm in high school. PLus, one time at my dad's appointment while my mom was at work, some nurse thought I was his wife!!! lol

Too strange, you know?? But I guess it's good to look younger to confuse people. LOL Or maybe yet, to feel the same age. 15 or 17. giggle
