a lot of the students in my art classes are from 2nd or 3rd year...and @ the beginning they always asked what year i was in (3rd? 4th?) and they never believed me whenever i said i was in first year...

they're always like "damn i thought u were like 24 or something"

So last night I went to my niece's choir concert. She's a freshman in high school. When I arrived she introduced me to her friend as her Aunt Carrie. Her friend quickly proclaimed 'You look too young to be an aunt'. Isn't that sweet?

I get mistaken for my mid to late 20s and get carded for alcohol almost every single time. I'm 36

im plannning on teaching visual arts, but actually teaching it and not just letting people paint for fun hopefully i can change the way the arts is seen as a class in high schools because it isnt seen as seriously as it should be thanks tho
