hold up...i was born & raised in the ghetto, and i've seen folks wrap plastic bags around their hair in lieu of a doorag/jerri curl cap n'such...but around sneakers? only when folks put their new shoes away. | |

when my friend was a teacher at a charter school he said that was quite common.
i'll never forget the image i had of the one boy he told me about who had on a fur coat and his pants hangin' off of his ass and having his shoes wrapped in pieces of garbage bags. when my friend asked him to explain the bags he said "these the new Jordans!" | |
