I bought my girlfriend a kitten for her birthday UPDATE - we took it back to the adoption agency! :( So, the kitty was unhappy and kept pooping on my girlfriend's couch (even though he was potty trained, etc...)...  the adoption agency recommended we take him back... So, my girlfriend had to say goodbye... sad...

So she'd just keep having kittens. Even though we ended up keeping most of them, we'd always find good homes for the ones we couldn't keep. It was still heartbreaking to split up the litter. I swear nothing makes me smile more than seeing little kittens play and roll around. I just have the biggest soft spot for them
