The weekend is upon us whatya doin'?


I have a prep day saturday...ready for the first outing on the bikes on 3rd April.Then i am cooking for friends in the evening....hmmmmm beef!!!

Then sunday it is sunday league football. Tough game on sunday away from home so i had better be on form ..... out with friends in the evening for some fun and games.

And my weekend is gonna spill over to monday because my beloved Spurs play monday night at home so i am working in the morning and then taking a few hours off in the PM to meet up for the game.

If this bloody cold will let me.....bugger.

Hope you all have fun!

I'm ill so plan on spending it curled up on the couch feeling sorry for myself.

And that means trouble, as I am still buggered by the midweek-weekend I had.

Im sorting out my 2005 CD for Darin and Carrie. It's a bit quirky. It's a heady mix of steel drums, camp tall stories, David & Victoria Beckham and the pain of watching someone you fancy dance so well amonst other things. Tonight will be the usually boozy do in the pub with the girl I fancy but has a girlfriend and the girl who fancies me but wont leave me alone.

Tomorrow Im working but its cool because its me and my housemates running the show. Should be interesting. Saturday night is pretty unplanned. Maybe head down the pub due to Tom's involvement in the Liverpool derby. The cinema is another option as I'd like to see 'Tsotsi', 'Syriana' and 'Good Night and Good Luck'.

Sunday I will probably peruse the Observer with one eye on the Sunday afternoon football. Maybe the pub on Sunday night. Hopefully there's a quiz somewhere because I like quizzes. I identified the theme tune to the Mortal Komabt film by a 10 second ring tone snippat last week. Both cool and geeky at the same time! We didnt win though.

Road trip for me!

Off to Duluth tonight just for the heck of it with 2 friends. Look out, northern Minnesota!
Then tomorrow we're going even farther north for a show. One of my favorite bands and I haven't seen them in years.

Sunday will be the long drive home and probably nursing a hangover.

~ tonight: meeting up with a couple of friends I haven't seen in ages. Should be nice. Then another mate arrives from London. Taking her out, coming home trashed no doubt

~ Tomorrow: chill, meet up with mates in the night Try not to drink too much.

~ Sunday: chill, maybe cinema, then staying at a mate's house. Eat, talk rubbish, go to bed.


I've had two self-imposed quiet weekends in a row so I need a bit of action.

tonight i am going to help my climbing buddies at the climbing wall that i am a member off start a membership drive.

saturday i am off but i am helping a friend do the box office at a lecture in the evening.

sunday i am off again but i have a gig in the evening.

Two friends and myself are leaving work early today to make a 4 hour road trip to see a great hip hop show on the other coast of the state. Then on sunday I will take my son to our annual tradition for his birthday...a New York Yankee spring training game of course!

I have a rather laid-back weekend planned, but it's okay as I'm broke.

Tonight I plan to have a super-house-cleaning party. Soundtrack will be a fancypants new Spice Girls pressie provided by the sweet SextonSeven.

Tomorrow I have to join my BF at a hotel downtown MPLS where his CRAZY mom is playing in a pool tourney. I just hope to get there before she's crocked as she likes to pull my face into her bosom after a few drinks

Tomrrow afternoon/evening will be a happy hour at local brew pub with a FAB jukebox, good beer and food...all for cheap.

Then Sunday....no plans!

i'm gonna go grocery shopping and go to uptown to trade in my ipod for a new one (paycheck pending)...more than likely i'll just be doing what i do every weekend: ride around on the buses.

NY invasion!

picked superspaceboy up at the airport last night, and took him to my favorite little gay bar last night. trying to awaken myself on little sleep, while he is at my apartment sleeping on my couch.
