I have experience with spirits!! My aunt was 89 and she died in the haunted house she lived in. She was like a grandma to me. Day before her funeral i sat in the front of the house while all my family was in the back, i said show yourself and let me know you here, law and behold, like a finger out of nowhere drew a line on the bed sheets and i saw. I just sat there and faced it and said good. I sat there for at least 20 minutes afterwards. the truth!! Rather it was my aunt, or the spirits telling me goodbye that lived in the house cause they knew i was not coming back again, i still faced it like that boy on the movie BOOGEYMAN!!! Face the ghost!!!

If whatever is there is evil it probably would've manifested itself differently. I know you heard stuff around the house. Let me know if they were in 3's. Usually if you hear 3 knocks in a row or something like that then it's supposed to be evil. But I don't get the feeling it is. Also, because it kind of plays with you by touching it may be a child.

I'm not really sure where you'd buy Sage, but I suppose a New Age shop would do it - not that I'm personally down with that stuff, cuz I'm not. But I don't see how it could hurt.

I do think you should tell it loud and firm that you don't want it to scare you, and you do have the right to tell it to leave. This is YOUR place now
