WHY THE HELL DID I COME INTO WORK TODAY?? first day of spring, and we have a winter weather advisory. it's snowing like a mother out there! we've got about 7-8 inches already and they're expecting AT LEAST 10, though the way it's going i'd bet they've changed their estimates. my little toyota camry was ok on the roads, but i believe i'll be stuck once i try to get out.
there i am, parked on the street b/c i couldn't even get into the parking lot! 
look at it coming down!! 
i'll probably go home in an hour or so. | |

I know what you mean girl! I have been fussing about it all day. My son is staying home with my sis from school. I mean really, the first day of spring??!!

| made it home! (actually, been home almost an hour, but the damn org wasn't letting me post! )
i didn't have to shovel out when i left, i just rocked my car back and forth (for those unfamiliar with driving in snow, that means i kept switching from drive to reverse) and the guy from the other end of the building (who came in his 4x4) gave me a push and i made it!!
almost got stuck twice (once just trying to get back into my driveway!), almost got plowed into by a pickup, and almost got plowed into by a semi. but we're home safe and sound, and i'm NOT leaving again today! | |
