Trust me: other women will not care if he cheated.

That is so very true.

If a woman began dating a guy whom she considered wonderful and perfect and with whom she felt she was in love, and she then saw her new guy listed on a site like the one being discussed here, more often than not she'd choose NOT to believe what was said about him. She'd just figure it was sour grapes or exaggeration, or outright lies. People often don't even heed the warnings of trusted close friends and family when it comes to their lovers -- why would a post on a website from some unknown person carry any real weight?

A site like this isn't going to change the mind of any woman who is in "twuuue wuuuuuv", or be very successful as serving as a warning to subsequent potential girlfriends of the men listed. Even Richard Ramirez got himself a woman who wanted to marry him (and did).

As for the site itself and its purpose, when I was younger I'd have thought such a site was great. As I've gotten older, though, I see the pointlessness of it.

Sooooo true! People need to believe that they are going to have a different outcome than the ex. I've even seen it happen on this site, where an Org Playa has emotionally sucked someone in, gained their trust, made them think they were "the one", then discarded them. The Playa then moves on to a new Org victim, who refuses to believe any of what s/he's told by those who watched the old thang unfold. The response: "oh, well ((insert old gf's name)) was mentally ill/crazy, and I"m not like that, he REALLY loves ME, I'm different and special".
