That's a tough call, but I'd have to go with TWOK.

I saw each one in the theaters on each opening weekend. geek

Palpatine was trained by Darth Plagueis.

Star Trek ruled TV while Star Wars ruled the big screen.

I am more partial towards Star Wars because of the ongoing story which has evolved in the books (right now I'm about to start reading "Outbound Flight").

My Fav Star Trek series was The Next Generation. If they had made better movies, I'm sure they could have kept it alive (I missed that last 2 movies!).

DS9 was also awesome...but they lost me when that whole rebellion/war thing happened and that shape-shifting race got involved. I don't even know how the series ended.

The original Star Trek is priceless.
Capt Kirk was a geek in cool-guy's clothing, and Spock was his tough buddy that protected him from the bullies in the playground.
thumbs up!

I'm still kind of fascinated with TNG, especially because they really had those episodes where it was just character stories. Not very sci-fi sometimes. And of course the bridge of the Enterprise looked like an 80s living room!
