any tips on how to fix it? confuse

There should have been a disk that came with the sound card with drivers on it for whichever operating system you're using. Otherwise, the manufacturer of the sound card should have the drivers on their website. From Device Manager in System in Control Panel, there's a button there to update the driver, and then you point it to the new files or have Windows search for you. That is, if you're using a version of Windows. smile
