Faux Finish paint job from 2 weeks ago (mega-pics)... Thought I'd share some pics from a job of mine now that life is pretty much returned to normal. The client wanted the look of plaster without using plaster. I color washed a brown glaze (one part paint, one part water based satin polyurethane, one part water) with a 4" brush and modeled the glaze with a damp rag cut from a t-shirt. This is the first job ever in 10 years that someone tipped me- I made $53 an hour plus a $125 tip.

 You know, I'm not quite getting the nature of the job with that few pics. Could we get like 16 MORE, maybe???!?!? 
I'm teasing. The kitchen looks great. I've tried faux finishes, and it's tough to pull them off professionally.
