PrintableMy mama used to work at one back in the day. Once when I was 12, my aunt was supposed to be keeping an eye on my little brother and I, but I went to the drive-in w/ my cousins. They covered me w/ a blanket on the floor of the back seat and we had some wine coolers in the trunk. Later on, I was walking to the bathroom and one of my mom's co-workers spotted me and I said hello. They told my mom (who found out I didn't pay to get in and could've gotten her fired) and I ended up grounded for the summer. Years later, when I was 16, I ended up working there too. there used to be a drive in here in my town. my mom and another fam took all us kids to see top gun when it came out at the drive in. i think i was about 7 or so. i wanted to go play on the swings they had in front of the screen, but my mom wouldn't let me b/c someone might kidnap me.  (she was/is a bit paranoid) so all us kids sat on top of the car! i remember when the "sex" scene came they told us to close our eyes. yeah right!!
it shut down years ago. i never went to another movie there. now there's an apartment complex on the site. i wish there were still one here though. i never got the chance to go to one with a man.  | |

Yes I did in fact attend the drive in theater this night. It was great fun. 5:50 per person to get in, and that was for a double feature. My wife and I went and seen the horror double feature, this theater has six screens, and we were creeped out. We watched Final Destination 3 along with the featured feature that was The Hills have Eyes. So really I got to kill two birds with that one stone because I have been wanting to take my special girl out to a drive-in and we wanted to go see Hills have Eyes. I think over the next 3 months we will be going to all the horror movies we want to see there. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop. | |

...we have one i my lil' town of Jesup Ga... $5 per person, cheap concessions, old school drive in speakers or you can hear movie thru car stereo...first run movies and on weekends, double features, both first run also...I love it, dont have worry about others talking thru the movie...
