How long do you give yourself in the morning.. to get ready for work?
I get up at 7am to be at work by 9am. It takes me about 40 mins to get ready and about 10 mins to drive to work, but I like getting up and being all leisurely- drink coffee, check the org... What about you? Socks still got butt like a leather seat...

over the winter i tried to be up at 5:30am and out the door by 6:20am, so i could be on time for the bus. now that the weather is getting lighter and a little warmer, i still get up at 5:30am (a little earlier, actually) but i either dawdle or go to the gym until 6:15, then i get ready in time to be out the door by 6:45am, and i just walk to the train. yay for multiple public transpo options!

Wake at 6, coffee, another cofee, shower, baby minding while the wife showers, coffee and a bit of breaky (if I can be arsed) off by 8:30, work by 9:30, more coffee. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

Ex-Moderator | Up at 6:45, out the door by about 7:30 so I'm early to work, which starts for me at 8. But I always get here about 7:45. |

The first alarm clock goes off at 3:55 am, the second one at 4:30 am and I try to get out of bed by 4:45 am. I have to be at work by 5:55 am. I just do not like getting out of my bed. It is warm, cozy and just peaceful in my room. And I don't like going in cold rooms. I dread leaving the house. It takes me only about thirty minutes to get showered and dressed. Damn...and I thought I had to get up early....
I awake at 5:30....put on sweat pants and a tee shirt, run for however long I feel like it, come back home and meditate, take a shower, feed dog and parrot, and am out of the house by 7:30 and get to work after fighting Atlanta traffic whenever.... I'm making myself tired just thinking about it! "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

About an hour and a half. I like to take my time, and ease into the day. Watch the morning news, make breakfast, shower, iron my clothes, check my email, etc. I get nervous if I don't give myself plenty of time.

I try to wake up at 6:30 but usually it's after 7... I get myself ready..then work on my daughter... she's four and can't make up her mind on what to wear to school.. so I end up leaving around 8 or after.. get her dropped off and then to work at 8:30 instead of 8.
I try.. | |

Right on both counts. I do shave at the gym and eat breakfast in my office. Also, I kinda pack everything I need (i.e. lunch, nomad and stuff) in my back pack the night before. It was hell training myself 2 do this, but it's easy now. Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

Depends. I have to be at work at 9am. If I'm staying at my place, the alarm is set for 7:30. An hour to get ready (<-- an hour has been my standard get-ready time since I was a little kid ), 15 minutes to walk to work, and a 15-minute buffer for snoozing or coffee or whatever.
If I'm staying with my guy, I have to allow about 45 minutes extra for driving. Commuting sucks. wrong-emoticon-code-for-this-board-edit [Edited 3/17/06 11:25am] Seattle Org Invasion July 28th-30th http://www.prince.org/msg/2/177514

I wake up around noon, or when ever my eyes open. I don't wakeup to an alarmclock buzzing. Then I go downstairs and make some coffee. I wake up the wife, and we sit drinking coffee and waking up for the next two hours. Alot of the time we will sit and watch a movie, or we will just watch something on television. A couple of hours later we walk upstairs into our offices and thus our day starts. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
