SOOOOO when i buy an ipod to pop all my tunes on there stored on itunes will it work-or will it only allow the tunes that have been downloaded-rejecting the audio cds

im getting a sinking feeling that ive wasted a week of my holiday ripping me cds.....

i cant see where it would give me the option to convert to mp3
(i just presumed they would all be mp3s automatically-obviously not!!)
