You've paid tax on you're 6 weeks' worth of work each year?

All UK residents get a personal tax-free allowance, and if your earnings in a year are less than that you shouldn't pay tax (it's about £4,500 for most people at the moment I think). Assuming they treat you the same as a UK resident, you should be able to get your tax back (assuming your total income was less than your allowance). This site should be able to help

Inland Revenue

Don't think you'll be able to sort it on the net, but it should give you a phone number or email address at least. Good luck!
