Can somebody please fill me in on what the thing is behind the cult worship of this? (Obviously) I've never seen it, but have heard about it for YEARS...

Well it's Russ Meyer...King of Softcore Tittie Movies of the 60's and ROger Ebert wrote the screenplay which is really unintensionally hilarious. And the movie has everything in it (I do mean everything ) It's the best B movie...the one that didn't know it was a B movie.

It is nothing like the Valley of the Dolls. It is NOT a sequel...there has never been anything like it prior or post.

Austin Powers paid much hommage to the movie in his first movie (even says the line...This is my happening and it freaks me out!)
