Dont u miss these sorta movies? I forgot how tongue n cheek this film was. And those adverts between the news stories are funny too (like the board game "nuke 'em", played between a dad and his son) And i always loved this bit in the movie [Edited 3/14/06 15:55pm]

Nah, anyway, as i said, it was tongue in cheek (most of those terminator/blade runner ripoffs were really) The pic wont show, but the bit when the sidekick of the bad guy gets toxic waste all over him, and he mutates into a monster, is great fun. The spiderman "lets convert every comic book hero into a family film" series of action films are even more cliche'd then those 80's movies.

They are dumb fun, but dumb fun dont equel $ anymore, now its all special effects and "character development". Fantasitc four" was shit and even my mates knew it.

I LOVED RoboCop.....part 2 and 3 kinda sucked though. The video game was just awful When I was little and saw RoboCop for the first time, I wanted to cry when they shot Murphy. man, I love those cheesy movies. Oh good movie!! LOL and the sequel too. Those prison shower scenes were hot. They were actually fun movies to watch, not bad at all really.

jerseykrs said: AnckSuNamun said: ok....I really just laughed out loud Me too. Cynicism, directed at america, is always funny. I cant remember robocop 2? I loved Judge dredd as a kid though, with stallone. That was one of the last of them sorta blade runner type movies. That and the equally dumb "demolition man" with snipes/stallone. Snipes still looked hard with a blonde doo and dungerees

while robocop is a brilliant movie with many complex things hidden beneatht he surface, it is far too violent for me to watch much. Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

When I first watched the scene where they shot Murphy that, that scene was the most violent scene I had ever seen in a movie.

U reckon? I admit, robocop is surprisenly deeper then the movies it gets cobbled together with (like demoliton man for example). Freejack is actually a good movie (havn't seen it in a while though), harpered by mick jaggers hilairious bad guy acting He uses his own speaking voice, and thats meant to be menicing?

Oh, now i remember, i saw a programme about porns recent history (it was interesting actually), and they mentioned about her. Around th early 80's? Considering the film is early 90's, it sounds about right. I remember she faked her id and everything, and something about the whole industry being in trouble over it?
