I forgot how tongue n cheek this film was. And those adverts between the news stories are funny too (like the board game "nuke 'em", played between a dad and his son)



And i always loved this bit in the movie

The pic wont show, but the bit when the sidekick of the bad guy gets toxic waste all over him, and he mutates into a monster, is great fun.


The spiderman "lets convert every comic book hero into a family film" series of action films are even more cliche'd then those 80's movies.

I loved Judge dredd as a kid though, with stallone. That was one of the last of them sorta blade runner type movies. That and the equally dumb "demolition man" with snipes/stallone. Snipes still looked hard with a blonde doo and dungerees

while robocop is a brilliant movie with many complex things hidden beneatht he surface, it is far too violent for me to watch much.

When I first watched the scene where they shot Murphy that, that scene was the most violent scene I had ever seen in a movie.
