and given the emotional investment made in the last couple of minutes, is it safe to say that tony bought the farm and he's rockin' that righteous soul patch of his up in the heavens? if so, why did they bother to keep him alive in the first few episodes? why not just off him with michelle? that's weird.

I'm betting he's not actually dead, since they didn't make it explicit, and they usually aren't shy about the fact that people have died on that show. Seattle Org Invasion July 28th-30th http://www.prince.org/msg/2/177514

It would have been better if he lived and went on his own revenge spree! Funny you mention Soul Patch...that's his nickname on TV without pity.com. Michelle was Bitchelle. Christian Zombie Vampires

NightLight said: Maybe its just me than, because I cried for Lynn too, and the guard that was like "I'm alright, I'm alive!' then he started choking and sadly
I know this is TV and drama, but Lynn and the security guard could have survived a little bit more, and maybe could have staved off death. How? All they needed to do was wad up their clothes, socks, anything -- not just a hankie. Sure the gas will get you in the end, but they could have survived a little longer or could have been alive if they really wanted to stay alive. But that's drama for ya in real time. I have my doubts, but I could see 24 go on for another season, but why oh why are they killing off the main party 1 by 1? Seems the only constant this season is Jack and Chloe. I still wish former President Palmer was still alive. Mr. Haysbert was the shit on 24. Now he's off doing another mid-season gig on CBS.

Oh, watch Edgar is still alive, barely, and they use his blood as an antigen or something in the next few episodes. Edgar saves the day! I can dream can't I? Maybe it's time to go back to The Sopranos? [Edited 3/16/06 15:29pm]

DAMN it!!! I have to disagree...the killing off of Terry established that the show could take risks like that and that they weren't tied to keeping it all Happy Happy. Of course the show never came back to that point of edginess, which was gone for the most part mid season 1. If you had seen the alt ending, you'd retch. Christian Zombie Vampires

I didn't read the original post, as I just got into this show and don't want to find out more than I should. My husband and I have been obsessively renting the DVDs. We finished the first season (loved it!) and are 2/3 through the second season (love it even more!)
My question for all you "24" fans is this - what, in your opinion, has been the best and worst season of "24"? Thanks! "She made me glad to be a man"

Best - Season 1 (even with the amnesia) Worst - Season 4 (except for the Mom and Son subplot) I rank them in order..3 & 2 are interchangable but I liked how 3 ended as opposed to 2, which ended on a weird cliffhanger that never got resolved. 1 3 2 5 4 Christian Zombie Vampires

I see. Yeah, it was sort of ambiguous with Terry. I guess that since I owned the DVD set I knew for sure. But also going to the official site...If I see "Deceased", I'm pretty certain that that's what it means. But I get what you're saying. Christian Zombie Vampires

Yeah even on the site there is a poll asking you how you felt Jack's reaction to Tony's death. Apparently many of the actors asked for large sums of money that the network didn't want to give.
