Back in the game! So I'm one month single now and holy crap, I've never been hit on so much in my life. I'm not used to this, it's never happened to me before. Can you men smell the newly singleness or something?
Dating is very akward for me and I'm not sure I'm looking forward to this...nor do I know if I'm ready for it. But I have a feeling that once I am ready then there won't be any more knocking down my door. That's always the way isn't it? Anyway, tell me some of your funny or best/worst dating stories. Try not to horrify me too much, I'm already selfconcious and shy enough when it comes to this crap. My second date with my ex I slammed into the car behind me while parallel parking because I was so nervous...with him in the car, and the car I hit was his friend's. That gives you an idea of how much of a wreck I can get...

Ex-Moderator | One of my last dates went really well. He was sweet, nice, polite, good conversation, the attraction was there, etc. Until we got to the movie. Now, I'm all for a bit of cuddling, but he just tried to take it way, way, WAY too far. He was a grope machine, I swear to god. His hands would not stop. I almost walked out on him. I finally had to firmly say STOP! NOW!
Yeah, I'm not seeing that guy again. |

I wasn't aware that you were single. Oh well, join the club.
I for one, have never had to beat women off with a stick, so piss off for showing off.

Yes we broke up the day after Valentine's Day because he told me it was a "one sided relationship". This being said 2 days after him kissing my forehead and telling me he doesn't get to see enough of me It's very confusing to everyone, including HIS friends. Nobody gets it.

PS: I'm not showing off! This is all very new to me...

He has emotional issues, it's very sad because he's not a "bad" guy. He was always good to me during our relationship but once it ended he was very, very cold to me. Completely shut me out and hasn't spoken to me again.

Emotional issues, huh? was he clingy or always needing attention? btw, i'm the same way, once it's over it's over. i'd need my space for awhile too. it's confusing and difficult to not be with someone anymore and they're still around trying to be "friends".

Yeah, I'm not seeing that guy again. Why do you think guys take girls to the movies during the first couple of dates? personally, i like to put a whole at the bottom of the popcorn box and stick myself inside, so when she goes to grab a bite she grabs something else.

No he wasn't clingy at all, we live about 45 mins away from each other so it was hard but it was still good. And I'm not a clingy person either, I never had any qualms about him going out without me, I was never jealous and really...I was a good girlfriend. Everyone was jealous of our relationship because it was always fun, we only had one fight in a year and a half. But if I was ever sad he couldn't deal with it, he was never partial to my feelings. He told me to take it or leave it, along with some other very harsh words...so I opted to leave it. It was very abrupt and confusing. I only contacted him twice and it was to get my stuff that I left at his house. He couldn't even answer the phone, he texted me that it was all in a bag on his back porch. That is the last I've heard of him.

Then I found out my ex was dating someone else and all of a sudden I was all friendly again and wanted to hang out. Of course by this time she had completely gotten over me and wouldn't give me the time of day. Serves me right. That's how men and women are.

She ended up going into a looney bin and he just grabbed his shit and left, he never checked up on her or talked to her again...and he claims to have really loved her. He's fucked up.

I would go on a date with you if I lived on your town!
anyway...one time I was on a date, and the girl was drunk and she kept on drinking, and then she was like sliding down onto the curb, making tongue motions at guys at a restaurant, scoring coke at a nightclub's office, and then in the car... she was like "oh, Stephanie (talking to herself)! Oh... whew" and she rolled down the window... I said "What?" "OH, you'll know in a second" then my car filled with the stench from deep within her loosed to burn my mind like a howling silent fart banshee emptying out her entire length...
