In real life, it depends on the context. Coworkers often tell me that they thought I was shy or aloof at first, and were later surprised to discover that I'm not at all. That's because I'm a smartass with a twisted sense of humor, and at a new job I have to censor myself until I figure out how easily everybody is offended.

People who meet me in other contexts can often have sort of an opposite misconception. People sometimes think I'm much more outgoing/extroverted than I really am.

In truth, I'm a confident introvert.

People are also often surprised by how emotional/sensitive I am, 'cause I'm intelligent and rational and tend to come from that place most of the time. I don't think being rational and emotional are mutually exclusive at all, but many people seem too, so they pick up the rational bit, and especially combined with my being a laid-back type, are surprised the first time they see me cry at a peanut butter commercial or whatever. Ask the MPLS Invasion-ers and the peeps who were at Karen's birfday.

I am really not the bitch I come off as....well maybe I am...I just think I am more conceited then anything...oh well such is life...I love myself and that is all that matters.
