I already miss those bastards! ...

I had my first day at the new school today. Was so stressed I couldn't sleep... and those twelve year olds were pretty tiring, but I survived.

I still feel like bawl because I had to leave my other students behind. They keep on sending text-messages to encourage me, isn't that sweet? They've made me pretty mad sometimes but the last few days they have been mushy Some were even crying when I said goodbye.

Here I am with the biggest part of one of my classes on the last day we had together. Find the teachers biggrin . There are two of them.

One teacher being kissed on the head, other one in a brown sweater?

And it will get better.
Promise.

kiss2 Hope so too. I'm not too thrilled about the first day. This 'Can I use a green pencil to draw a line, Miss?' is freaking me out. They're cute, but a bit too young for me. I guess I'll have to scare them tomorrow, because they were really testing me, pushing each other, asking a zillion questions, throwing pencils through the classroom. sigh

Thanks sweetie... Just finished a second very exhausting day at this new school. Yesterday I've worked for 14 hours without having time to eat more than two slices of bread. I'm still feeling upset and very insecure as these students are testing me like crazy and I need to do so much things and make three exams that have to be ready in 7 days...But yes indeed, I need to give them some time... Some of them are really sweet, one class has written 'welcome' on the blackboard for example. It's a small gesture, but it helps...

Here's another pic taken on Tuesday, it's me and Timna, one of the female 'leaders' of this class. I like the stupid expression on my face. I was so emotional that last day and smiling or hiding like an idiot all day because I didn't want the students to see me that emotional.

biggrin Those are not exactly what you call 'cute'. The cutest one is Matthias, the one in the middle is Laurentz and on the left you see Jan. The worst of all is Boris, on the extreme right. Those guys have freaked me out a few times, especially Boris, Jan and Matthias were pretty hard to handle.
