Bad service anyway, used to be a frequent flyer on there until they discriminated against me!! Besides, i think the airlines we hae today can fill in perfect. Northwest, Continental, american, southwest, united, and 4 otehr discount airlines are all we need.

Delta tells arbitrators cuts in pilots' pay needed
Bankrupt airline also seeks to axe pension plan, union threatens strike

WASHINGTON - All Delta Air Lines Inc. employees need to sacrifice to help the bankrupt carrier survive, and its pilots should be no exception, a lawyer for the nation’s third-largest carrier told a three-member panel of arbitrators Monday.

Jack Gallagher asked the arbitrators to throw out the collective bargaining agreement of Delta’s 6,000 pilots so the Atlanta-based airline can impose up to $325 million in long-term pay and benefit cuts. He also told the panel “it now looks more likely than not” that the pilots’ defined benefit pension plan will be terminated.

“If Delta’s cash runs out, its fate is out of its hands,” Gallagher told the panel gathered at a downtown Washington hotel for the start of two weeks of hearings. Delta’s chief executive, Gerald Grinstein, was among those in attendance.

Hell year i flew with them to the US last month and they were awful. Flew back with Northwest and it was a joy....despite being in Business on Delta and coach with Northwest.

Delta didn't even want to give me a can apple juice, just a cup full of ice and 2 swallows of yellow water cause that was not apple juice. Skip over me serving peanuts saying i was sleeping!! That used to be the black travelling person's favorite airline. When I was a kid they treated us like royalty and I remember when I got my first pair of wings and was introduced to the captain. That was big especially when we flew to the south for the summer. Back in the day that is the only airline that I flew. It hurts my heart to hear all this now. Oh well..

My dumb ass just went to Google to check on tickets with this airline and all it showed was the crashes they had back in the day. I am a dumb ass. Wow, I am definitely losing it!

Airtran is the new name, the last crash was in 1996. all airlines crashed before. No one was worse tha nthe Delta crash in 1987 in dallas. People were running with their heads off they said. The scariest looking crashes were the American DC10 in chicago and United Dc-10 in des moines. I wish i knewhow to put on here cause i would download it t ohere so you all could see that one!!!
