Do you have too much baggage that you can't possibly substain a stable relationship? Do you have too much baggage that you can't possibly substain a stable relationship?
You know how there are some people who just have too much mental drama? Are you one of those? Do you know someone like that? .

I never said my relationship was stable...
I'm firmly planted in denial

I stay away from women with baggage or "issues" or who are into drama. Life is too short for that crap.

I am one of very few people I know of that is actually able to substain a stable relationship.
People should really learn to take advice from where sucess can be measured. I have seen several people take advice from losers in love on the topic of love. That's insane. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I once went out with a girl with an ass like a horse.
That 'stable' relationship lasted 'bout 2 weeks.

I agree. What a woman's ass looks like is important. You don't want too much junk in the trunk.

Actually, I've found that the older I get, the less baggage I have... ...comes from learning and growth due to experience. ok, thats understandable, and with age come emotional growth (or so it should).... however, when i was younger, i didnt have children to worry about, i didnt have issues that i do now with housing concerns, i wasnt responsible for a lot of the things that i am becomming responsible for now that i am older.... when i see a man who has 4 or 5 kids from 4 or 5 women, i know hes carrying baggage that im not going to deal with. im interested in someone who has a firm grasp on their life and are emotionally grounded, yet responsible... but who can still kick up their heels and pretend if nothing more than for one night that they dont have these things to look after and have fun without some woman chasing him around because he refuses to do what he needs to do. am i confused on the baggage issue ? No matter if the experiences we have had are mostly good or mostly bad they have certainly taught us what we want and what we don't want and in that sense made us more picky. Our personalities have become more complex and specific and we share fewer common denominators with those around us. All this makes it very tricky to find a partner that is a good match. At the same time we've (usually) learned to take ourselves a bit less seriously and to see beyond the surface in another person. So I guess in the end the positive and the negative cancel each other out and make it just as difficult to find a partner as it's always been.

I guess I don't consider kids and housing concerns to be baggage...just responsibilities. (My daughter is not even a "responsibility", but a ridiculously beautiful addition to Life... )...The guy who has 4 kids with 4 different women definitely has baggage, though...lol...but it's not the children that are baggage, it's what-the-hell-ever it is that resides in him to be so indiscriminant and irresponsible that's the real baggage in my eyes.

Exactly... ...I'm thankful that I'm not just adding more issues on top of older ones, but ridding myself of those older ones thru growth while also keeping newer ones from developing. I'd make a better partner in a relationship now than I would have 10 years ago...

I have a huge amount of baggage but I wouldn't dream of inflicting it on anyone else and I certainly wouldn't let it jeopardise any chance of finding happiness.Once you're over a certain age theres bound to be some kind of history but the key is to learn from it and chalk it up as lessons learned. Time is a trick....

Every1 has baggage 2 a certain degree, but I think if U can't have a relationship without xpecting your mate 2 deal with all of your bullsh*t, then U probably need 2 work on yourself before U involve somebody else in that mess.
