If you stick to the webcam I told you to get, you will be very happy, that's one of the best to use with messenger programs and much of the rest of the internet webcam stuff.

I mean, if you wanted a better image, for the price you ain't going to get better, but if money wasn't an object I would tell you to get a miniDV camcorder that can also be used for webcam. However this is overkill.

ok someone gave me a bit of useful information that i hadn't considered

the image is only going to be as good as your upload speeds and mine are shite so i guess i will try the cheapest logitech i can get my hands on.

that is true, however one of the cheapest logitech you can get your hands on is still far better then most of the wannabe webcams on the market. Logitech is been at making webcams for much longer then most.
