my man has to be sensitive
but, there are times when he has to be a hard ass too mostly, i cant stand a man that refuses to cry... that just messes me up, if you need to cry, let it out man, its not like im gonna think youre a big sissy for it... infact, just the opposite. theres something about a man that can shed a tear if needed, but take charge of a situation and run it like a bulldog too One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

Most women say they want a senstive man but that's not who they end up going for.

alot of women didn't say that there has to be a balance. nobody wants a wuss or man that is way too rough.

I've always been a bit confused about what is meant by the word "sensitive". I have a lot of emotions so in that sense I guess I'm very sensitive. But I don't get broken down easily by bad things that are happening, so in that sense I'm insensitive. Or does it mean how easily you pick up "vibes" from other people? In that case I'm extremely sensitive. I'm also very ticklish. So I guess all in all I'm sensitive?

Yep. The evidence. The evidence is all there. The sensitive guys usually take a backseat to the bad boys or the really macho guys.
Did say you were were playing squash? Good for you. Good way to lose the love handles.

i think a sensitive man is one who cares how i feel
and wants me to care back about his feelings so in that case - hell yeah who would want an insensitive prick who isn't tuned into you or who doesn't allow you to get close to him??

You know the deal we have been here before post a pic of you and then you will get what you want and BTW if you don't have the goods to stand up then don't posture. You make all the noises but you have nothing to back it up. In England we say "all mouth and no trousers" fits you pretty well.

It's an interesting question. I would say yes, more than most women, I do like sensitive men.
That said, people who are very sensitive have to develop mechanisms for coping with that, and sometimes those mechanisms are not condusive to healthy relationships. As a pretty sensitive creature myself, I've noticed that there are a couple of ways you can handle potentially hurtful things. You can learn let them pass through, or you can put up a shield to force them to bounce off. Learning to let them pass through requires a certain serenity that is hard to maintain, and that makes this the more dangerous option, as far as trying to keep from getting hurt. But the sheild, while safer, also pushes good things/people away. I'd love to meet the man who is sensitive and coping with it gracefully. I can't say I have. Or, at least, not a straight man.
