And look what my boss just emailed me!

You see, yesterday I slipped as I got in the shower, and fell I bashed my knee and I cant walk on it, and I put all my weight on my shoulder so I can hardly move my arm. Silly girl!

So my boss says:

"Thanks for letting me know, get yourself to the doctors or tucked up with your leg up and a good bottle of vodka."

cool eh?! and I was worried about getting in trouble!

anyone have any interesting phoning in sick stories, or any bosses as cool as mine ?!

I finished working at my school yesterday after 6 months of working there. Tomorrow I start teaching again full-time in another school. The schedule is horrible and I've never taught to kids this young (12-13) before, so I'm all stressed out. I will be teaching Dutch and English, first year.

My stomach is really upset (had two stomach-infections this year) and I'm taking some pills I have left because I don't have time to go and see a doctor. I just have to go or I will lose the job.



Wish me luck. I'll return to my books.

I had enough last night me thinks.

at my job i don't get sick days. over the summer i had a hard time finding a baby sitter and so i missed a whole week! my boss still paid for that whole missing week, , if he didn't do that i would not have made it

I'm at home sick today.

But with my boss, I never have issues with taking off, I wear what I want everyday, I have free parking, he takes us out for lunch once a week, and we drink on the job for Mardi Gras, 4th of July, Tuesdays...
