i read about this too. very scary. and extremely sad. and now we know that kids drinking soda is one leading cause of obesity, but the soda industry takes no responsibility for what happens as a result of its aggressive marketing campaigns.
so let me see, the tobacco industry has been ordered to pay damages as because tobacco causes lung cancer, but the soda industry shouldn't have to pay anything, or label its product in any way, even though soda largely contributes to obesity, which in turn creates a number of serious life-threatening conditions which in turn sends health care costs soaring through the roof..umm.. yeah. | |
