I work on this machine - with 1gb ram and all old software, this old thing FLIES!

I'm assuming this is a Power Mac... why not install 10.4 on there, alongside your 9.2? It should handle that and iTunes with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

No... you don't. Note I said install OS X alongside 9.2 on the same drive, assuming it's big enough. You can have both operating systems on the same drive and dual boot between them using a Control Panel. You can, also, - easily - run OS 9.2 underneath OS X and access all your old apps along with your new ones at the same time. Doing this is called using "Classic mode" while booted into OS X 10.4... lots of people do this to keep using pre-X apps.

10.4 didn't have classic mode anymore though did it?
I have 2 very little hards disks redface that together only add up to 35gB, but less than half of that is free.

10.4 still supports Classic fine, Apple simply no longer ships 9.2 in the same box. You must, also, have OS X and 9.2 installed on the same drive for it to still work properly in some instances, IIRC.

If you are patient, you can use the line of code my genius ex sent me. Ready?

?intitle:index.of? mp3

type that into the search bar of google.com followed by the name of the song or artist you want

?intitle:index.of? mp3 Jeff Buckley

And personal databases that host mp3s relevant to your search should appear. Many of them won't work or may require passwords. Ignore them. Eventually, you'll find what you want for free.
