who knows a reliable legal mp3 site?

I keep finding russian ones and I'm scared of those!

If anyone has been buying their music without a hitch somewhere that they would recommend, let me know! (itunes does not work for me and my old mac)

i love this site! though you have to pay $25 every three months, but you actually can listen to anything free without downloading. and if you want to download it's about .80 a track.

but if you have a stream recorder, then...well....heh. smile

so it's $25 quarterly if you don't download anything? not worth it for me. I want a place where I can pay for what I download and that's all, or is there no such thing? sad I want to buy one album and that's all!

itunes? lol confuse

you don't necessarily have to have an ipod to get music from there, just the software, which is free and easy to get from apple.com

Macintosh Requirements
* Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later
* 500MHz G3 processor or better
* QuickTime 6.5.2 or later

if I were to get any of the above I am up for big bucks sad

Those are the requirements for the Mac iTunes. If you download the Windows version, it should work. http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

It should? They have an ancient Mac with OS 9.2.... Although, virtually any Mac that came with 9.2 had some form of OS X with it, as well.

Why not pick up a a PowerPC-based Mac mini before they all vanish and then you can run your current version of Photoshop under Classic? If your system is as old as it sounds, this would certainly be quicker...

What kind of Mac do you have right now, anyway?

now that i thought about it, you can access their site just for downloading songs, the $25 quarterly fee is only for those who would like total access. nod
