i refil pop bottles too hey do what you feel! a lot of the studies i read were supposedly independent. i think the point being made is that after being washed the plastic begins to deteriorate which causes the chemicals to leak into the water, most bottled beverages do have shelf life and i'm assuming besides taste, deteriotation maybe another reason why. so just don't wash 'em!  | |
