thats what i do. in the summer i buy cases and me and the kids refill the bottles and put them in the freezer for the next day when we go on our little trips to the park or museuems or downtown when it gets really hot.

yup...i try not to collect them because then i feel like a crazy old packrat person, but i keep one or two empties in the fridge and just fill 'em up with filtered water before i go to the gym. i save lotsa money that way, and i give my brita pitcher a workout. smile

nod

Voss has really beautiful bottles, so I have a couple of those that I just keep refilling with Brita water.

They look nice on a nightstand. For sipping from after, you know, thirst-inducing activities.

And yeah, often one or two plastic ones in the freezer for picnics or workouts.

I don't know anybody who's pay $4.00 for a bottle.....maybe some rich socialite, but not your average joe. lol speaking of gas.....it went from $1.99 to $2.14 in a week. I was so excited to see it under $2.00. I should've known it wasn't gonna last.

Oh hell yeah. Voss is the best water out there. the disolved solids content is so low, it's honestly the best. And I'm not uppity like that, I just know what I can taste.

It can be. The first time I saw it was at the W Hotel in Seattle, where I believe it was $12. lol

My bottles were purchased on sale and, as previously noted, are refilled with Brita water. wink

hey do what you feel! a lot of the studies i read were supposedly independent. i think the point being made is that after being washed the plastic begins to deteriorate which causes the chemicals to leak into the water, most bottled beverages do have shelf life and i'm assuming besides taste, deteriotation maybe another reason why.

This stuff is good, especially at 50 cents per 1.5 litre bottle. Thai OTOP winner 2004. nod

Thailand has to produce great mineral water since the tap water is so crap.

If u ever come to Thailand though, Minere by Perrier Vittel is the one to go for. Tastes as good as the tap water back in the UK where my parents live in the Cotswold hills. smile

You might be kidding. I don't know. But I actually don't throw away plastic cups. I wash 'em. boxed

As far as plastic degredation, I think that would take a while, and some plastics would be more prone than others. shrug
