oh my god, you wanna talk about rip offs. The prices at the market on campus are marked incredibly high. You'd spend twice as much there as you would at a regular store. I go there sometimes in between classes for small food items because it's convenient. $5.98 for a box of fuckin' Fruity Pebbles. It could at least come with a toy. You can go elsewhere and get the same box for like $2. I checked out prices for other items there too and it's insane. Those kids are in school and they don't have that kind of money to spend on groceries. They just know that a lot of those kids on campus don't have cars and at times have no choice but to use that market.

I am a spoiled brat and I get everything I want...so when I say it is worth a whole thread then it is worth a whole thread.

I drink Minere. Made in Thailand, Perrier put their stamp on it. I don't know how much they really have to do with it, but it's the best water I've ever tasted.

Bottled mineral water is relatively cheap here, compared to the US at least. A 1.5 litre bottle costs about 35 cents US. We buy 6 litre bottle for the kettle. For foreigners it's a necessity to buy bottled water here since the tap water put in a barrel outside to be heated by the sun method just ain't gonna cut it. It's bad enough that I eat soup that's been made in that water, let alone actually quaffing it down when I'm thirstly.
